Brief Description
Letter, typewritten in black ink on off- white paper, from the "Archers- women from Warsaw with our head- archer/ Mrs. J. Spychajowa- the many world's records/ champion" to Shirley Strickland. They express to her their "friendly consolation" for her unexpected failure, and mention how she is "an example of a sportlady". Six signatures underneath. Polish handwriting along lower edge, and small paragraph of Polish typewriting on reverse. Dated 27th November 1956.
