Brief Description
Large colour photograph in pinkish tones, of numerous young men and women in formation inside a stadium, some in white, some blue, some red. Large groups stand on the racetrack, with smaller rows of white- clad men inside, holding large German flags. The seating is filled with lined-up men in white, who hold up colours to make two large DDR logos. "II. Deutsches Turn- und Sportfest Leipzig 1956" printed in white in lower LH corner.
