Brief Description
Pink ticket with a light blue map of Australia, and an "XVIth 1956" Olympic Torch and Rings logo. Inscriptions include, "MAIN STADIUM / MELBOURNE CRICKET GROUND", "XVI OLYMPIAD, MELBOURNE / NOVEMBER 22- DECEMBER 8, 1956", and the row and seat number, date, and price of ticket. The upper RH perforated corner of the ticket has been removed, leaving the lower half which states the name and time of the event, "ATHLETICS AND / BASEBALL / DEMONSTRATION". Autographed by Shirley across the front.
