Brief Description
Cast iron fleur-de-Lis design fence finial with faded and chipped white paint remnants. From the old iron picket fence which used to surround the entire Melbourne Cricket Ground playing area from c. 1880. The finials were removed prior to the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games.

My impression is that, minus those finials, the iron fence still remains. Can you confirm/deny? If so, those finials could be repatriated to the remaining fence.
