Brief Description
Carved, and painted silver, wooden relief sculpture of Saint George slaying the Dragon. Traditional emblem of England, and used by the English Cricket Touring Team, in this case, the team which toured Australia in 1990/91. Sculpture is mounted onto a wooden shield with a red and yellow stripe, flanked by two blue stripes, on a black background, cutting diagonally across. This is mounted onto a varnished wooden shield. Upon this main base, at the top centre, is a metallic label with the inscription: 'PRESENTED BY/THE ENGLAND CRICKET TEAM/1990/91'.
