Brief Description
"Helm's World Trophy" awarded to Shirley Strickland in 1955. Heavy silver- plated metal plaque, rectangular- shaped with cut-off corners. Debossed titles reads "HELMS WORLD TROPHY", with "1955/ AWARD" engraved underneath. Six small engraved plaques are underneath, listing the winners of the award, and their countries (includes "AUSTRALASIA/ SHIRLEY STRICKLAND/ DE LA HUNTY). Under this are a listing of members of the "Helms Hall Board", and the purpose of the trophy. A bas relief representation of the trophy is set in the middle of the plaque, above a debossed image of "Helms Hall".
