Brief Description
Black and white half- length photograph of Shirley Strickland standing with Gena Minnicka (USSR athlete). Shirley wears a dark tracksuit jacket over her top and lace-up number "1" bib, and dark shorts. Gena wears a dark jumper with POLSKA printed across the front. Handwritten inscription on reverse in ink is in Polish, and signed by Minnicka, dated 6.VIII.55.
