Object Detail

Brief Description
Gold-coloured medallion framed behind glass. The medallion consists of a horizontal bar with chain, from which hangs the medallion. The medallion is a C-shape, displayed backwards in this framing, with a ball at the end of the top section of the C. Inside are two cricket bats, with what was probably once the letter M and the letter C. Around the edge is an engraving reading, "C.W. SIMMONDS / LIFE MEMBER 1939". The medallion sits on a burgundy velvet backing, covered by glass. It is within a speckled frame, mostly burgundy colours, which has a gold inner section around the glass.
