A Certificate of Merit presented to Shirley Strickland by the Western Australian Women's Amateur Athletic Association. The certificate was awarded on the occasion of being 1st in the 100 Yards, 1st in the 80 metres Hurdles, and 1st in the 220 Yards at the Western Australian Championships held at Leaderville Oval.
