Brief Description
Unused cricket ball with red leather casing. Ball features two gold coloured stamp marks on either side. The first stamp mark reads, "NUTTING & YOUNG / LYRE BIRD / DE LUXE". The second stamp mark reads, "MANUFACTURED BY / BRAND / OF / N & Y / QUALITY / NUTTING & YOUNG". Ball contains four panels. The ball is stitched across the centre with six rows of twine. This ball was made in the c. 1940's.
