Brief Description
Presentation case, hinged, to house the bronze medal won by Shirley Strickland at the XVth Olympiad in Helsinki, 1952, for third place in the 100 metres. Case is blue, with rounded edges, and a gold set of Olympic Rings printed on the lid. Inside of lid is cushioned silken material with gold Olympic Rings, base is a stiff blue felt bed with a depression, and ribbon for removal of the medal.
