Black and white photograph of two women from the Australian team for the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Games, standing either side of a lady in a dress and hat. Shirley Strickland is on the left, Verna Johnston on the right, both athletes wear the official team uniform, and carry a large bunch of flowers. Shirley's participant's badge is visible affixed to her blazer. A purple PRESS PHOTO SERVICE stamp is on the reverse.
