Black and white photograph of Shirley Strickland crossing the finish line in a race, running towards the left. She is just running into the tape, eyes closed, head back. She wears a number 31 on her sleeveless top, and has a bandage on her left calf, along with dark shorts and dark spikes. Three other women and a line of hurdles are visible to the right.
