Brief Description
Gold medal, BRITISH EMPIRE GAMES/ 1950 debossed on obverse, around an image of a helmeted winged lady holding aloft a laurel wreath with her right hand, and a trident held in her left. The reverse features leaves and flowers around the edge, with a small map of New Zealand inside a laurel wreath at the bottom. Engraved in the centre is WOMEN/RELAY 660 YARDS/ S. STRICKLAND/ AUSTRALIA. Comes with presentation box.
