Brief Description
Trophy, silver plate, cup and base; engraved inscription, "VICTORIAN / FOOTBALL LEAGUE / 1964 / PREMIERSHIP CUP / WON BY / MELBOURNE", and oak leaf and acorn design; two handles. Underneath the trophy is a stamp mark which reads, "PARAMOUNT / PLATE". Wooden base, with metal shield affixed; in the centre is a blue enamel shield with an inscription. It features an insignia which reads 'VFL'. On the bottom of the base is a green anti-slip mat.
