Brief Description
Section of fence that is made from cast iron and has been painted in a brown/red coloured paint. Fence features a decorative floral influenced design. The centre of the fence has a monogram which reads "MCC". This fence dates from 1886 and was originally part of 'The Grandstand" at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This section was salvaged in c1954, as the stand was demolished to make way for the Olympic Stand.
