Pair of satin shorts, white, with a green- yellow- green stripe down each side, fastened with black buttons at each hip. Worn by Shirley Strickland at the 1948 Olympics. The upper button on the RH side is missing. Label sewn into back reads MELBOURNE/ SPORTS DEPOT/ FIRST FOR SPORT.
