Black and white photograph showing the official presentation of the medals for Women's 80 Metres Hurdles final at the Olympic Games, London, 1948. The three athletes on the dais are (from left) Maureen Gardner , Fanny Blankers-Koen and the bronze-medallist Shirley Strickland. On the reverse is handwritten text in blue ink, and the stamp of the Olympic Photo Association.
