Black and white photograph of Fanny Blankers- Koen approaching the finish line of a race, in first place. She wears a white top with the number 692 (obscure), darker shorts, and dark shoes. Shirley Strickland is coming third, wearing the number 668 (obscured). To the right of Fanny is visible a runner with the number 691. A purple OLYMPIC PHOTO ASSOCIATION, 1948 stamp is on the reverse, along with MONDAY 2 AUGUST 1948/ 100M FINAL/ 1. 692 BLANKERS KOEN 11.9.
