Black and white photograph taken during the Women's 80 Metres Hurdles final at the Olympic Games, London, 1948, with 3 runners jumping a hurdle running from left to right of shot with crowd in background. The three athletes from left to right are Shirley Strickland, Maureen Gardner and Fanny Blankers-Koen. Strickland won Bronze. On the reverse is a stamp from the Times newspaper.
