Brief Description
Black and white photograph taken during the Women's 80 Metres Hurdles final at the Olympic Games, London, 1948, with 3 runners lunging for the finish line with two athletes behind, running from right to left of shot with crowd in background. The three athletes from left to right are Shirley Strickland, Maureen Gardner and Fanny Blankers-Koen. Strickland won Bronze. On the reverse are handwritten inscriptions in pen, and a stamp from the Olympic Photo Association.
