Brief Description
Tan coloured rectangular Identity card folded in two, with black and white photograph of Shirley Strickland on front. The red text surrounding the photograph reads in part XIV OLYMPIAD LONDON 1948 / IDENTITY CARD, and type written is ATHLETICS / SHIRLEY BARABARA STRICKLAND. On the inside of the identity card are details of Shirley's passport, date of birth and address, and the card has been stamped by the Commonwealth Immigration Officer, May 17, 1948.
