Brief Description
Handwritten letter in black ink on lined note paper, written by Mr C Lee to Shirley Strickland. The letter refers to the watercolour sketch sent together, and offered for sale to Shirley Strickland for sale for 150 pounds. On the reverse is a handwritten pencil reply from Shirley, in which she declines the purchase, and advises the artist to try the National Art Gallery, and hoping his art improves with age. The letter is signed off I REMAIN / WITHOUT YOUR PAINTING / STRICKLAND. Part of set with 2003.3903.217.1-.3.
