Brief Description
Rectangular cream coloured sheet of lined paper with handwritten text in blue ink on one side. The letter is from Shirley Strickland in London to her parents, and is dated 23 July [1948]. In the letter Shirley outlines her preparations for the 1948 Olympics in London, mentions results of her pre-Olympics races, writes about visiting tourist sights around London, and also of the different nationalities drawn to London for the Games. There are three sheets in set, 2003.3903.215.1-.3.
