Brief Description
Panoramic photograph of the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the 1933 second test between Australia and England. Inscription on mount below photo reads, "2ND. TEST MATCH - AUSTRALIA v ENGLAND / 2nd. January 1933 / World Record Attendance for one day 68,188. / Australia won by 111 runs.". A score list, and, information on all the stands captured in the photograph is provided around the mount. An inscription at extreme bottom right of photo reads, "PHOTO BY / COMMONWEALTH GOVERNMENT / PHOTOGRAPHIC BRANCH".
