Brief Description
Telegram with handwritten inscription. The telegram has printed blue text across the top half of the form. The reverse side has an advertisement by Post Office Communications Australia promoting the use of telephones. Just below the top on the front side there is a heading that reads, "RECEIVED TELEGRAM". Below this is the inscription in black ink, which starts with, "Melbourne 16 11.49a 1 / Keith Rigg / C. G. M.". Near the upper right corner there is a black stamp mark which reads, "CRICKET GROUND / -1JA37 / MELBOURNE".
