Brief Description
Bronze-coloured metal medal. Raised lettering on one side read AUSTRALIAN WOMENS AMATEUR ATHLETIC UNION with a design in the middle. On the other side are 6 small shields, representing the Australian states, surrounding a larger scroll in the middle. On the scroll is engraving which reads "100 Yds / 2nd / S. STRICKLAND / W.A. / 24/1/48."
