Brief Description
First two pages (on the same piece of paper) of a letter written by Shirley Strickland to her mum, dad, and brother from 17 Doonan Road, Claremont, dated 4-6-43. The first line reads I BREAK UP ON AUGUST 7TH FOR THREE WEEKS. DO THE BOYS/ KNOW WHEN THEY BREAK UP YET?. She talks about playing hockey, and having gotten up early to go on a Geology excursion on Sunday. Written on both sides in ink.
