Brief Description
Mounted colour aerial view of the MCG with light towers ablaze, during a cricket match, the stands full. The photograph extends to the first few rows of the carpark along the lower and right edges, and goes up to the Melbourne city skyline, with clouds. A shiny metal plaque has been affixed under the photograph inside a window, reads, "PRESENTED TO / THE MELBOURNE CRICKET CLUB / BY / PHILIPS INDUSTRIES LIMITED / ON THE OCCASION OF / THE FIRST DAY / NIGHT CRICKET MATCH / 17TH FEBRUARY 1985". White windowmount. Reg number inscribed bottom left reverse.
