Brief Description
Loose black and white action photograph. In view are four cricketers and a cricket umpire. Image shows Keith Rigg (cricketer) after he was struck by a cricket ball that had just been bowled by Gubby Allen (cricketer). There are two other English cricket players at the bottom of the image who are unknown. There is an inscription in black ink on the reverse side near the upper right corner, reads, "K. E. hit on Hip-bone / by Gubby Allen in Test / 1936-37 Series". To the right of this is another inscription in blue ink, reads, "80% / CRICKETER". In the centre is one further inscription in grey lead pencil, reads, "1B".
