Brief Description
Loose black and white action photograph featuring two cricketers and a cricket umpire. Image possibly depicts an unknown Victorian and an unknown Queensland cricketer, playing in a Sheffield Shield match at the Brisbane Cricket Ground ('Gabba') circa 1920s-1930s. One player is holding a cricket bat and has just been bowled. The other player is the wicketkeeper. There are inscriptions on the reverse of the photograph. At the top in grey lead pencil reads, "Two 2". In the centre in blue pencil reads, "x 7". Parallel to the bottom in is a red stamp mark, reads, "COPYRIGHT PHOTOGRAPH / Supplied by / THE COURIER-MAIL, BRISBANE / Queensland".
