Brief Description
Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award, presented to cricketer Keith Rigg, on 12 June 1971. The medal is cross-shaped and is attached to a red ribbon with grey trim. A clasp is attached to the back of the ribbon. Front of the medal has an inscription which reads, "FOR GOD AND THE EMPIRE". The ribbon is stored in an accompanying box and there is a separate instruction card on how to wear the insignia.
