Brief Description
Old original black and white photo, stuck onto a cardboard mount with an embossed border. It depicts men in dinner suits raising a toast, gathered around a table with a centrepiece that reads, "LONG LIVE THE PREMIERS". This is a dinner given by L W Wollcott on 20 May 1913 to the St Kilda 2nd Eleven, winner of the VCA 2nd XI premiership 1912-13. A plaque on the glass reads "PRESENTED TO THE / MELBOURNE CRICKET CLUB / IN APPRECIATION FROM THE / ST KILDA CRICKET CLUB / MARCH 1996". The frame is medium brown wood with dark outer edge and gold inner edge, and glass. It is under textured cream matting.
