Brief Description
A panoramic colour photograph of the Melbourne Cricket Ground taken at the final siren of the 2001 AFL Grand Final. The stands are full of spectators and players are on the field, the Brisbane Lions players raising their arms in celebration having won the game, player #11 Alastair Lynch holding the ball aloft. The inscription below the image reads, "AFL GRAND FINAL 2001 / SATURDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER / BRISBANE LIONS 15.18-108 D. ESSENDON BOMBERS 12.10-82". The Brisbane Lions players' and coach's names and numbers are inscribed beneath and, "ATTENDANCE: 91,482". To the right of the inscription is Brisbane captain Michael Voss's signature. Limited edition print No. 270 of 500. Surrounded by a white window mount and a wood frame with a gold recess.
