Brief Description
Original watercolour painting by Robert Ingpen, depicting in entirety the design for the Melbourne Cricket Ground Story Tapestry, commissioned by the MCC to celebrate 150 years of events at the Ground. Shows approximately 200 figures, from sportsmen to entertainers, spread out over a dark yellow-orange background. Label on back details the tapestry and project. Double white windowmount, in pale wooden frame.
