Brief Description
Set of four colour photos joined to make a wide-angle look at a cricket match, with spectators sitting on a bench which runs around the oval. Photos have been stuck to black card, which has writing on it in white ink. Heading reads 1ST SHEFFIELD SHIELD MATCH/ EVER HELD OUTSIDE A CAPITAL CITY. Caption underneath lists the final scores, and the game as N.T.C.A. LAUNCESTON TASMANIA/ 25, 26, 27, 28 FEBRUARY 1978. Inscription in black ink on white card underneath montage reads PRESENTED TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE M.C.C., DR. DON CORDNER,/ BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE CENTURY CLUB (LAUNCESTON), MR.
