Brief Description
From page 41 of the album, a black and white photograph of an unidentified landscape scene, probably country Victoria, ca. 1900-1909, viewed from a high vantage point. A river curves up towards the centre of the photograph, with thick bushland to the lower left and cleared land above. A road and bridge can be seen in the middleground, with a couple of sheds and dwellings, and valleys and rounded mountains receding into the distance. The sparseness of the trees throughout suggests that there was a fire through the region in the past 20 years or so, from which it is still recovering.
