Brief Description
From page 16 of the album, a black and white, rectangular, profile-portrait studio-photograph of an unidentified woman. The woman wears her hair in a bun; wears a pearl necklace and a dress with flowers around the collar. The photograph is mounted on a light-grey presentation board with gilt edges. Beneath the photo on the board is debossed the photographic studio's emblem and details: W. BAKER, NOTTINGHAM. Verso has an advertisement for the photographers: WALTER BAKER, 8 DERBY ROAD, BOTTOM OF TOLL STREET, NOTTINGHAM. NO. 04720 has also been written in pencil, seemingly by the photographers. In a different hand in the top right corner is written in pencil SEPT: 19TH 1899.
