Brief Description
Facsimile of handwritten rules, five small (approx A6) pages. The handwritten title on the matting reads, "The Rules of the Melbourne Football Club 1859" and "A Transcript of The Original Rules of Australian Rules Football". This copy was a gift from the Melbourne Cricket Club to the Melbourne Football Club. The pages are presented in pale matting with five windows.
