Brief Description
Small buff-coloured printed envelope that was sealed but has now been opened. Envelope contained an MCC membership badge. Front of envelope features printed black text which reads, "F NO 014 / MELBOURNE / CRICKET CLUB / MEMBER'S BADGE / SEASON 1983-84". Reverse side features brown/red printed text and is titled MEMBER'S MEDALLIONS. This item was placed in the new 1983 time capsule which replaced the 1928 Members Pavilion Building time capsule. The new time capsule was sealed in 1983 and was opened in 2003, just prior to the demolition of the Members Pavilion Building at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
