Brief Description
Small silver-coloured metal membership badge that is diamond shaped. It is attached to a blue cord. Front features a blue, red and white enamelled design. Front reads '14/MCC 83 84/F'. Reverse side has a stamped inscription which reads, "NOT / TRANSFERABLE / SEASON ENDS / 31ST. AUG. 1984". This item was placed in the new 1983 time capsule which replaced the original 1928 Members Pavilion Building time capsule. The new time capsule was sealed in 1983 and was opened in 2003, just prior to the demolition of the Members pavilion Building at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
