Brief Description
Small membership medallion that is crest shaped. Front features a blue, red and white enamelled design. Front reads 'MELBOURNE C. C./MCC/1927/28. Reverse side is stamped with the number '419'. Underneath this is a stamped name that reads 'C BENTLEY'. This item was placed in the original 1928 Members Pavilion Building time capsule which was was opened in 1983. It was then placed within the new 1983 time capsule and then sealed. The time capsule was opened in 2003, just prior to the demolition of the Members Pavilion Building at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
