Brief Description
Loose leaf page containing a typed transcript taken from a 1928 signed citation. which had been discovered but was in too bad repair to replace in time capsule again. Heading at the top reads, "MEMBERS' PAVILION / THIS STONE WAS SET IN THE NEW PAVILION OF THE MELBOURNE CRICKET CLUB, ON / SATURDAY, 25 FEBRUARY, 1928...". The original citation was placed within the 1928 Members Pavilion Building time capsule and was badly damaged when the time capsule was opened 1983. A new time capsule replaced this older one, with extra objects, and was opened in 2003 just prior to the demolition of the Members Pavilion Building at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
