Brief Description
Small book of rules consisting of 24 white pages with printed black text. Title on front cover reads, "MCC / MELBOURNE CRICKET CLUB / PROPOSED NEW SET / OF RULES". The last two lines of the title have been crossed out in in red ink and has been partially altered (also in red ink) to now read 'Adopted August 1980'. This item was placed within the new 1983 time capsule which replaced the 1928 Members Pavilion Building time capsule. The new time capsule was sealed in 1983 and was opened in 2003 just prior to the demolition of the Members Pavilion Building at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
