Photocopy, newspaper clipping; "Saturday, July 16, 1938 // Flashes / From the / Grounds // By The Globe Football Staff // The remarkable influence of Ron. Todd on the game at the / M.C.G. today was strikingly emphasised on one occasion. When / Sharp, Victoria's rover, sent the ball high towards his forward / line, the crowd roared "Todd." Todd did not fail them. He rose / high into the air to secure the finest mark of the day. He was / head and shoulders above all others. It was a magnificent effort."
