Brief Description
Bone china, hand painted and glazed jug with side handle and spout. Decorative gold gilting features around the rim, on the handle and on the spout. Pink roses have been painted around the rim. Under the spout, a cricket scene is depicted comprising an oval with trees and a tent with a stone building in the background. In the foreground are two cricket bats, a ball and two sets of wickets. The inscription, in gold on a pink scroll, reads CAMBRIDGE / CRICKET CLUB. On either side are detailed floral arrangements. There are several stickers verso, one has handwritten "BWC"; the other 3 are yellow with printed "531955".
