Brief Description
Commemorative crystal bowl in presentation case. Bowl features eight cut faces. On four sections of the rim are fixed silver plaques. One with MCC logo and dates, second with NAB logo and dates, third with "FRANK GREY SMITH" and fourth with inscribed text, "Presented to the Melbourne Cricket Club / by National Australia Bank Limited / commemorating the centenary of the association / between the club and the bank, 1895 - 1995". Maker is Flynn Silver, Kyneton, with the maker's mark & signature incorporated into the glass base. Burgundy hinged presentation case is lined with red velvet on base & has 'Flynn Silver, Kyneton' stamped on lid with silversmith's logo. Inside lid is an image of one pound bank note and a descriptive text panel. There is a loose small card with history of Flynn Silver Kyneton inside the case.
