Brief Description
Black and white photograph (from pg 28 of album), circa 1909. Festivities on Manly Beach, Sydney. Features group on beach with faces and bodies painted dark, wearing grass skirts or sacks. They are standing with a makeshift cart, effigy and banner reading, in part, PREHISTORIC REEL FOUND AT MANLY.
