Brief Description
Maroon coloured book with decorative gold leaf text on front which reads AUTOGRAPH BOOK. There are 50 leaves to book, with a thin gold edge to each page. The book belonged to Frank Laver (cricketer), features his name on the fly leaf in pencil, and was used to collect signatures by Laver on the 1905 tour of the Australian Cricket Team to England, via Fiji. The first page is dated May 12, 1905 and is signed GEORGE P/EDWARD/ALBERT, future kings of England. Other signatures include those of Nellie Melba, the touring Australian Cricket Team of 1905 (leaf 12) , and the English cricket team of 1905 (leaf 7).
