Brief Description
A nursery feeding bowl decorated with painted decoration of elf-like characters playing cricket, with the inscription, "THE BROWNIES (CRICKET)", printed at top left. The bowl is coloured blue in the top half, graduating to peach in the lower half, and with a green rim. Text on the reverse reads, "BROWNIES, ARE IMAGINARY LITTLE SPRITES, WHO DELIGHT IN HARMLESS PRANKS AND HELPFUL DEEDS. THEY WORK AND SPORT WHILE WEARY HOUSHOLDS SLEEP, AND NEVER ARE SEEN BY MORTAL EYES".
